What to Expect From Your Cleaning

A note on "deep cleaning": We don't use that term because it means something different to everyone. What works better: tell us what you love, what you hate, and what past cleaners got wrong. The more we know about your preferences and past experiences, the closer we get to your version of a perfect clean, every single time.

Our goal is a thorough cleaning customized to what matters most to you. If you've already spoken with someone about your priorities, we'll have those notes ready for your team.

General Cleaning Tasks

Kitchen

Counters, sink, outside of all appliances, inside of microwave, cabinet fronts, stovetop, backsplash

Bathrooms

Scrub tubs, toilets, showers, sinks, counters, mirrors, cabinet fronts

All Rooms

Dusting, disinfecting, vacuuming, mopping (wet mop + dry mop)

Cleaning vs. Organizing

Light tidying is a normal part of our cleaning process. Our team will straighten magazines, fluff pillows, fold blankets, and pick up toys off the floor so we can properly vacuum and mop. We do what's needed to clean your home thoroughly.

What we don't do is personal organizing: putting away laundry, organizing closets, sorting bookshelves, or other detailed tasks that involve deciding where your personal belongings go. Those are more intimate, in-depth tasks that we leave to you.

Initial & One-Time Cleanings

In addition to the general tasks above, all initial and one-time cleanings include baseboards, doors and door frames, window sills, light switches, ceiling fans, blinds, and patio door glass (inside and outside).

For Move-In/Out Cleanings

• Inside of refrigerator, inside of oven, inside of cabinets, and inside of drawers are all standard
• Oven: If it has a self-clean option, please run it 24 hours in advance.
• Electricity & water must be on. We cannot guarantee quality without them.
• The home should be empty and free of trash. We're happy to clean if belongings remain, but if there are significant items or other service providers present, we cannot guarantee results due to variables outside our control. If you need junk removal we recommend Richard Brain (owner) with Gig My Rig!

• Floors will be vacuumed and mopped (no heavy machinery).

Recurring Customers: Upon-Request Services

These services are available by request and may require additional time beyond your original price estimate:

• Bed Linens: strip beds, change sheets, make beds. If you'd like sheets changed, just leave the fresh linens near the bed.
• Inside window glass (we do not clean exterior windows). For exterior windows, we recommend Kayson Lueck with Dessert Window Services.
